It is a Christmas card executed in the graphic technique of dry point; the recently married Mušič couple addressed it to the family of the painter’s brother in December 1949. On the right, there is a group of little horses in the Dalmatian landscape which was Mušič’s most recognizable motif at the time. Within the frame on the left, the date is engraved and information that that the card was made in Palazzo Pisani in Venice, where a nice attic studio with views was available then to Mušič. The greetings were written by hand by Ida in Italian and Zoran in Slovene.
At that time, wife Ida helped her husband to print graphics of smaller format which we use as an overture to his graphic oeuvre. They also jointly designed the announcement of their marriage a few months earlier to inform their friends that they had married on 29 September 1949.
