In the beginner and advanced drawing courses, participants,
learned the basics of drawing and painting. They studied techniques such
as sighting, building space, and
proportions, and explored various media, including charcoal, markers, pastel,
and acrylic. In the oil painting courses, they created a female nude. Inspired
by the Baroque in Slovenia exhibition, they also painted a female portrait,
delving into chiaroscuro and rendering various decorative materials.
Participants in the printmaking courses focused on
intaglio printmaking techniques such as etching, aquatint, reservage, and
drypoint, learning from the works of artists such as Zoran Mušič and Marjan
Pogačnik. They also became familiar with complex processes like multi-step
etching and color relief printing, which demand patience and precise planning.
The courses were designed to improve general skills,
prepare for art school entrance exams, and develop personal artistic style.
