From Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the New Wing of the National Gallery—which houses art from Slovenia dating from 1870 onwards—will reopen. Key works are returning to the collection after being exhibited over the past two years at the Belvedere Gallery in Vienna and the Dachau Art Gallery in Bavaria. Masterpieces of Slovenian Realism and Impressionism were viewed by a combined total of more than 110,000 people.
