Celebrate your birthday with Gal the Dwarf! His friends, the gallery guides, invite kids to Gal’s Room and show them around the Dwarf’s magical dwelling. What kind of clues has our mischievous green friend prepared for us? The birthday girl/boy and her/his guests can put on Gal’s costume and take a picture on the GALa throne.
You can choose between six different programmes that take children on a discovery trail around the Permanent Collection or along the path of different creative challenges.

Duration: 2.5 hours
Age group: All programmes are suitable for children aged 5 to 12.

Tuesday to Friday:
up to 15 children: 150 EUR
up to 20 children: 170 EUR
Saturday and Sunday:
up to 15 children: 170 EUR
up to 20 children: 190 EUR
Supplement for each additional participant (up to a maximum of 24): 5 EUR
The price includes a birthday card and a gift for the birthday child. Members of the Gal's Club receive a 20% discount.
Invitations: You can find invitations in the description box of an individual programme above. Invitations are in slovenian language.
Organization: Once all guests have arrived, Gal’s clues lead us through the collection, where children discover artworks in an interactive way. In the gallery workshop, a festive snack awaits us, followed by creative activities and celebration. We kindly ask the birthday child’s parents to arrive at the Gallery 15 minutes before the start of the party.
Food: Parents may provide the refreshments themselves or order a cake/cake pops and juice from us. Plates and cutlery are available at the Gallery. Food delivery (pizza) should be ordered to the following address: Narodna galerija, Cankarjeva 20, Ljubljana.
Dates: Birthday celebrations can take place from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, and on Thursdays until 20:00. The exact date and time are arranged upon booking.Please note that the Gallery is closed on Mondays, 1 January, 1 May, 1 November and 25 December.
