Teens to Museums: Creative workshops and birthday celebrations for youth
Shhh! Wait, why whisper, we’ll say it out loud: we won’t be still like statues, we won’t whisper, and although you’ll hear a fact or two, you won’t fall asleep from boredom. We prepared five programmes. In each, you’ll first learn a thing or two about select paintings, and then tackle a creative challenge.
Available in english language.

Who are your friends and what is the connection? Looking at pictures, we find out how people used to spend their free time. In the workshop, we experiment with face swap - we reimagine some of the works of art and replace the faces with our own.
We look for inspiration in the ancient stories of Greek gods and heroes. Some of them looked where they weren’t supposed to, some should’ve obeyed, but didn’t, while others were obedient, when they should’ve resisted. All protagonists share one feature: they have superpower abilities. And what’s your superpower? Using papier-mache, everyone builds her/his own attribute, an object representing her/his personality.
Which one is it, #filter or #nofilter? Style changed much throughout the centuries. Sometimes the portraits were retouched like on Instagram, while in other times and circumstances the painter faithfully depicted all the imperfections of the skin. In the workshop, we make a large-scale self-portrait and choose different filters for it.
What were fashion rules two, three hundred years ago? A waist pinched by a corset, grey hair and powdered skin, counts in heels and wigs, noblemen partying dressed in burgher clothes … the gallery paintings show many interesting fashion choices. If you want to experience what life was like in the past, the gallery cosplay is right for you.
We’ll look for love drama in paintings! Love, jealousy, scheming, cheating … we cover everything while looking at paintings and then continue with modelling from clay in the workshop.
