Children and Families
Families and children can choose from a wide
range of activities. You are kindly invited to actively spend some of your
leisure time in front of the gallery paintings.
The activities are usually conducted in the Slovenian language, however, we are happy to organise tours, workshops and birthdays in foreign languages. Please note that in such a case bookings should be made at least 14 days in advance. Please contact the Department for Education for details on which languages are currently available.
For Families
Family-friendly guided tours
Families can spend quality time together among works of art. Our family-friendly guided tours are adapted to adults and children of all ages. We discover paintings with curious objects (that stimulate all of our senses), solve riddles and embark on creative tasks.
Available in English.
Applies to at least one / two generations.
Multi-sensory Activities
We organize the tours of exhibitions and the
activities during which we do not rely only on our sight and hearing but wish
to include all our other senses. Activities are thus available to people with
sensory disabilities. Multi-sensory activities are free of charge!
Multi-sensory creative activities are conducted in the Slovenian language.
For Children
Holiday Activities
During autumn, winter and summer holidays the
gallery organizes creative workshops dedicated to unique and interesting
subjects.
The activities are conducted in the Slovenian language. For current workshops follow the events calendar (in Slovene).
Gal's Club
Monthly creative meetings for children from the
ages of 5 to 12. Membership in Gal's Club includes free entrance into the
gallery and many other advantages. More information available on Gal's Club page.
